Our Mission

Mission
The Mission of Little TrackStars is to promote and develop strong, confident and healthy young, well-rounded athletes in our local communities.

Our Approach for Parents & Runners
Traditional track programs are often built around long seasons, frequent competitions, and high time commitments—especially during the spring outdoor season (March through June), when athletes typically train multiple days per week and compete regularly.

At Little & Junior TrackStars, we take a different approach.
We focus on:
-
Fundamentals first (running form, coordination, speed)
-
Confidence before competition
-
Age-appropriate development
-
A positive, structured, and fun environment
Instead of overwhelming families, we offer flexible programming and include 2–3 optional track meets each season, giving athletes the opportunity to experience real races in a supportive, low-pressure setting.
Who We Are
Little & Junior TrackStars (LJTS) is a premier youth track and field program for ages 3–15, focused on building speed, agility, coordination, and confidence that translates to success in any sport—and in life. Through a holistic approach, we develop young athletes physically, mentally, and socially.
Founded by former collegiate track athlete Shani Blount, LJTS combines athletics, academic support, and social development to shape disciplined, confident, and team-oriented kids. Our programs serve all skill levels—from beginners to competitive athletes—and create inclusive environments where every child can thrive.
We bring high-quality, professional training directly to schools, communities, and local programs—redefining youth sports as a foundation for leadership, growth, and lifelong success.
